Wesley Allen Thompson, 48, passed away on September 10, 2021 in Cushing, Oklahoma. He was born to Paul and Maxine R. (Robertson) Thompson on May 27, 1973 in Cushing, Oklahoma.
He graduated from Cushing High School. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooner and Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed working on his Camaro to restore it. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, uncle and cousin.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Paul Thompson Jr, his sister Melody G. Thompson. He is survived by his wife Lisa M. Thompson; son Camden M. Thompson; two stepdaughters Faith N. Proctor and Jessie K. Proctor; one sister Yvonne Day of Cushing, Okla homa; Aunt Thelma Thompson of Cushing, Oklahoma; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews.
There will be a memorial service on September 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Cushing, Oklahoma. Potluck dinner to follow at the church.
In lieu of fl owers Camden requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Services are under the direction of Matherly-Davis Funeral Home.
