A Cushing man was killed when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Northeast Oklahoma Sunday.

According to the The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just after 11 a.m. Sunday, July 26, one mile west of Catoosa, in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 44.

Police say Charles Radford, 45, of Cushing, was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle alongside a Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Interstate 44 when, for unknown reasons, Radford’s motorcycle struck the Jeep Wrangler, then careened into a concrete barrier.

Radford was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders from EMSA.

The two men in the Jeep were not injured in the crash.
