I was in the checkout line at a local discount store last week, standing on my prescribed floor sticker, maintaining six feet of social distance, wearing my mask… well, neck gaiter, and minding my own business, leaning on my shopping cart while the cashier scanned stuff from the cart in front of me. The sign on the front door read, “masks required” and I was wondering why this rule did not apply…
