When J.D. Meisner, the publisher for Cimarron Valley Communications, called me an hour after my interview to ask me to be their summer intern, I responded with “Yay!”Who responds to a job offer with yay?Well, I guess I do.Now in hindsight, I can say “Yay!” was the most appropriate response.

A triumph for religious liberty

Oklahomans are celebrating a tremendous victory for religious liberty after a recent ruling by our state Supreme Court. At issue in the case was a fundamental question: Should taxpayers be forced to fund religious teachings that violate their own deeply held beliefs?

Remember When?

Do you remember when as kids we had to patiently listen to older relatives or friends of our parents as they told stories about their past? I realized that I have entered that stage of life.
