Our Daily Bread Expanding

This week, I want to highlight a nonprofit in Stillwater that helps provide families with easy access to food assistance. Our Daily Bread was established in 2017 to bring together several local food pantries to serve Payne County residents who are experiencing food insecurity.

Cimarron Valley Communications has two new additions to our staff and I am proud to make the introductions. Typo and Adobe Photoshop. Typo is a four month old grey tabby kitten who’s main job duty is pest control. Typo has been on staff for a month now and is excelling at his job.

Interim Studies to Begin Again

The House is picking back up again as interim studies begin this month. The Oklahoma Constitution directs the state legislature to meet in regular session from the beginning of February through the end of May.

Talks too Much

I can’t count the number of report cards that I brought home with “talks too much” written in red ink. My mom kept lemon juice, tea, and honey well stocked for many reasons not the least of which being the sheer volume of sore throats I had after any extended amount of excitement.
