CUSHING — Kamden Evans gave Cushing something to chase.
The junior led the Tigers with a seventh-place finish in the high school boys two-mile run, crossing the line in 11:36.21 and setting the pace for a Cushing squad that battled through a deep field to finish sixth overall.
Evans was the lone Tiger to crack the top 10, but Cushing continued to grind out places behind him.
