PERKINS — Rivalry games are supposed to hurt someone.

This one hurt the Tigers. Cushing walked into Perkins Friday night unbeaten but walked out with its first loss of the season, falling 30-20 to the Class 3A Perkins-Tryon Demons in a game that stayed within one possession well into the fourth quarter before slipping away.
