CUSHING — It wasn’t pretty at first, but the Cushing Tiger football team opened its 2024 season with a win at home against the always scrappy Berryhill Chiefs.
“It is always nice to get a win to start the season with a quality non-district opponent,” said Tiger Head Coach Rusty Morgan. “Starting with a week-zero game, there are always going to be some kinks to work out and we knew that coming in.”
