Our new girls basketball coach is Lauren Campo. Her assistant is Alyssa Fuxa. They both coached at Watonga for six years before coming to Drumright.
Both were outstanding athletes — Campo at Shidler and Fuxa at Garber.
I asked for comments and Campo said, she had a similar situation with having a young team at Watonga.
Most of the Lady Tornadoes this year are freshmen.
