Permitted Black Vulture Depredation Increased

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, in partnership with the USDA and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services, increased the number of black vultures authorized to a maximum of 10 vultures, previously a maximum of 5 vultures per sub-permit.

Bell Cow: May 12. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 70°F and murky. Largemouth bass good on buzz baits, crankbaits, jigs, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, rocks, and standing timber. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around docks.

P.E.O awards scholarship to local graduate

CUSHING - The annual salad luncheon for Cushing P.E.O. Chapter AX was held in the home of Marilyn Duff in Bell Creek Estates. P.E.O. is a sisterhood of women who are purposeful and passionate about celebrating, supporting and motivating women. One mission is to help women advance through education.
