PAYNE COUNTY - On the June 18 ballot, Payne County saw a handful of tight races this election, and a few landslide wins.For the statewide election of cooperation commissioner, J. Brian Bingman won with 126,778 votes (53.42 percent), 2,848 of which were cast by Payne County residents.

Cushing Public Library hosts Toddler Music Time

CUSHING — Children gathered around the basement of Cushing Public Library on Monday for a fun, hands-on music experience led by Regina Brown.The event was one of the many early literacy activities planned for children five years old or younger participating in the summer reading program.
