Historic aircraft from the WWII era graced the tarmac at Cushing Airport during the annual Cushing Fly-in and fun fair in October. Dozens of visitors to the festival took advantage of the rare opportunity to fly in the C-45 and C-47 and experience aviation at its raw best.

Richard Thackray and Marie Thackray were announced as the winners of the train raffle hosted by the members of Cushing Communtiy Theatre during the last showing of “It’s a Wonderful Life: Live Radio Play”. Winner of the raffle will have a train ticket from OKC to Fort Worth purchased for two to be used at a time of their choosing as well as getting a $500 visa gift card.
