Glencoe man charged with first degree murder

GLENCOE - A missing Stillwater man’s body was discovered in a shallow grave on a rural property about four miles southwest of Glencoe and law enforcement officials have arrested a Glencoe man and charged him with first degree murder.

Dugger announces he won’t seek third Senate term

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Tom Dugger, R-Stillwater, has announced he will not seek a third term in the Oklahoma Senate. First elected in 2016, Dugger said he would complete his current term representing Senate District 21, which concludes in November of 2024.

County okays $14K radio purchase for Creek County

SAPULPA-TheCreekCounty Board of Commissioners Tuesday awarded the bid for purchase of five refurbished 800mhz handheld portable radios and chargers for the Creek County Sheriff’s Department. The Commissioners awarded BTM the contract of just over $14,000, said District 2 Commissioner Leon Warner.

Work on SH-97 underway

SAND SPRINGS - A more than $26 million project began on SH-97 near US-412 in Sand Springs Monday, Sept. 11. The project will reconstruct the pavement, as well as add new traffic signals and sidewalks from S. Main St. to W. 2nd St.
