CHF donates over $100,000 to CHA

Cushing Hospital Foundation presented the Cushing Hospital Authority with a check for over $100,000 as part of a partnership between the two entities as well as Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in order to purchase a 3D mammogram machine for the hospital.

Perkins-Tryon teacher arrested on first day of school

PERKINS — A Perkins-Tryon School Resource Officer (SRO) arrested a teacher on Thursday, Aug. 17, the first day of school for Perkins-Tryon students. Perkins Police said Perkins-Tryon school officials contacted the school resource officer in regards to a possibly intoxicated teacher around 3:20 p.m.
