Neighboring businesses saved CUSHING — Black smoke was already pushing into the Sunday afternoon sky when a call came into the Cushing Fire Department about a possible fire in the area of the H&R Block building. The call came in at 4:13 p.m.. The first firefighter arrived at 4:14 p.m. at 409 E.
