Flores breaks state record at powerlifting meet

Cushing Tiger favorite Nicholas “Panda” Flores is an Oklahoma powerlifting record holder. Panda set an OPCA state high school record in squats in the 275-pound class with a lift of 685 pounds during the OPCA Large School State Championship meet held March 9 - 11, at El Reno High School.

Area students to visit The Right Path

Children thrive in environments where the community is committed to their educational success. The Right Path, located in Drumright, partners with six local schools for the Horse Tales Literacy Project: a program to motivate first graders from Title I schools to learn the love of reading.
