Police investigate postal assault

A Cushing postal worker was allegedly assaulted on her daily mail route, according to recent reports. The worker has now filed for an emergency protective order against the alleged assailant, Richard Fuqua, twice — once in mid-February and again one week later.

Tiger Kaiser Simpson takes OSSAA Class 4A wrestling title

Cushing Tiger wrestler Kaiser Simpson swept through the state tournament bracket in Class 4A’s 144 lb division to claim the Oklahoma state individual championship this past week. Simpson, who went undefeated this season won by fall over Jaxon Klaassen of Weatherford just 1:16 into the match.
