On Tuesday, the House Banking, Financial Services and Pension Committee heard an interim study on our Teacher Retirement System (TRS). TRS Executive Director Sarah Green said the system currently has 99,844 active members, an 11% increase over last year.

Last Friday, Nov. 4, volunteers participated in Lowe’s Red Vest Volunteer Day by coming to the Cushing Senior Citizens Center (CSCC) and applying further updates to the facility made possible by the Lowe’s Hometowns grant awarded to the entity earlier this year.
