County enacts Burn Ban

The Payne County Board of Commissioners Thursday approved a resolution for a 14day county-wide burn ban due to the extreme fire danger that exists in Payne County.

Cushing Tigers only undefeated team in Class 4A

The unrestrained, physical defense of the Cushing Tigers held the Catoosa Indians to just one touchdown as the Tigers hammered the Indians 63-7. The win took the Tigers to 5-0 on the season and they stand alone on top of the hill as the only undefeated team in Oklahoma Class 4A.
