Cushing Christmas Events; Dec. 8 - 10

Starting on Dec. 8 “Jingle Bell Days” will be happening until parade day on Dec. 10, starting with the inaugural “Christmas on Cleveland” event with special sales and events at Cleveland Street businesses.

Resolutions Passed and Failed

City of Cushing Board of Commissioners met Monday, Nov. 21 to discuss and approve resolutions and proclaim November National Runaway Prevention Month. Chairman Mike Griffith gave the proclamation after the pledge of allegiance was said.

Yale’s Winter Wonderland; Sunday, Nov. 27

Winter Wonderland presented by the Yale Chamber of Commerce will be held on Sunday, Nov. 27 with activities starting at 4 p.m. According to Chamber President Brian Porter Jr. the evening will be full of activities and fun. Christmas Vendor Market will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Stocks Rise First

I’m not a fan of synchronized swimming. If my wife makes me watch it, I only look for the mess-ups. I prefer seeing the girl get kicked in the face more than the perfect routine. The stock market and the economy wouldn’t be very good synchronized swimmers.

How to Cook a Turkey
