Broadway District Streetscape plans altered by DOT

The City of Cushing is considering an improvement to the Broadway District that includes streetscape improvements, sidewalks, trees, beautification and new lighting to Broadway, Cleveland, Harrison and Noble Streets to make the downtown area more friendly to foot traffic.

The second round of the Oklahoma Music Educators Association (OkMEA) high school choral auditions were held over the weekend on Saturday, Nov.

Voters will decide county sales tax question in Feb.

The Payne County Board of Commissioners Monday approved a resolution calling for a Feb. 14, 2023 election to renew the Payne County 3/8-cent sales tax. District 1 Commissioner Zach Cavett said this is not a new tax, but just a continuation of the existing tax that was established in 1995.
