This past weekend, the staff of Cimarron Valley Communications (CVC) attended the Oklahoma Press Association’s annual convention held at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City. The OPA convention played host to the staffs of dozens of newspapers from across the state.

Last Friday, Jacob O’Donnell, the police chief in Carney, Oklahoma, was arrested and charged with driving under the infl uence of alcohol and transporting an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle by Officer David Smith of the Cushing Police Department.
