Pawnee Bill Ranch to Host Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Days on June 11

PAWNEE, Okla. — The Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will celebrate the lives of Maj. Gordon W. Lillie “Pawnee Bill” and his wife, May Lillie, as well as their famous Wild West shows with a free, one-day festival on Saturday June 11, 2022. Pawnee Bill's Wild West Days will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Misuse of material contributes to fire ignition

On Tuesday, May 24 the Cushing Fire Department responded to a call just before three in the afternoon at 1002 West Broadway. Following some confusion about location, first responders handled the situation efficiently, according to a report done by Captain Jeremy Willman.

Payne County Commission holds regular meeting

Payne County Commissioners attended a regular meeting on May 23, approving a purchase agreement, an annual agreement, and tabling one item. A purchase agreement with Premier Truck Group and District 1 was approved on a vote of 3-0.
