Taking it to the next level

Ashlynn Arnce has been playing soccer since she was just three years old, but after suff ering from an injury her senior season, she wasn’t sure if she would ever play the sport she loved so much again. Once she got the news she would likely miss the rest of her senior season, Arnce was devastated.

Answers to most back to school questions

The Quilting Hut opens in Broadway District

The Quilting Hut opened its doors on July 1 and last Wednesday on July 20 the Cushing Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the business located at 106 North Harrison in the Broadway District of Cushing.

Senior Citizen Center and Emergency Management awarded grant funds

The City of Cushing Board of Commissioners regular meeting was held on Monday, July 18 during which the approval of grant fund budget amendments were made. These amendments were in regard to two grants awarded — one to the Cushing Senior Citizen Center and one to Cushing Emergency Management.
