Creek County Commission approves ARPA fund request

During the Creek County Commissioners meeting on Nov. 8 routine matters were discussed, as well as three requests for the use of American Rescue Plan Act funds. All items in regards to ARPA fund request were approved.

Bids opened and selected for Payne County

The Nov. 15 agenda for the Payne County Board of Commissioners listed two bid openings which were selected during the regular meeting. District 1 had a bid for an asphalt rejuvenator which ProSeal was selected for.

Arrests

The following individuals were arrested by the Cushing Police Department from November 8 to November 19. Individuals named are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Ms. Neals first grade class Kamdyn Turner- I will kill the turkey and put it in the oven. Then when it’s done, you can eat it. Alyssa Greenfield- I will go hunting with my dad to catch a turkey. Then I will put it in the oven to cook it.

Religion In Government

I am inspired this week by an assignment my wife is doing for a Law in Education class. Her assignment was to write about religion in school and particularly release time for religious classes.
