The following individuals were arrested by the Cushing Police Department between Augu. 24 and Aug. 29. Individuals named are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Creek County Board Approves Equipment Replacement for Sheriff’s Office

Two air conditioners at the Sheriff’s office are set to be replaced now that the Creek County Board of Commissioners have approved the agenda item listed for the Aug. 23 meeting.

Oklahoma National Guard to assist with Hurricane Ida relief efforts

OKLAHOMA CITY – Approximately 500 Oklahoma National Guardsmen will depart for Louisiana in support of relief eff orts following the devastation of Hurricane Ida. The first group is scheduled to leave tomorrow.

Our Daily Bread comes to Cushing

Our Daily Bread, in partnership with Cushing Community Food Pantry came to Cushing to provide Payne County residents with free groceries on Aug. 25. This is the third event that has been hosted in Cushing, according to Executive Director Rachel Condley.
