Nearly two years after being charged with embezzling $70,000 from a local business, a Cushing woman entered a plea agreement in Payne County District Court last week and was placed on six year’s probation and was ordered to pay restitution, fines and fees.

Oklahoma State Department of Health as of June 28 reports 455,986 total cases an increase of 1,102.The active case count has increased by 214 since last reported. Active cases are now reported at 1,505. There have been 447,097 recoveries and 7,384 deaths attributed to the virus since testing began.

On Saturday, June 19, the Agra Community Enhancement (ACE) group hosted an outdoor movie night for members of the community. Beginning at 7 p.m., volleyball and music was available at the free-to-the-public event. “Raya and the Last Dragon” was projected onto a screen set up by the group.
