Oklahoma State Department of health reported on Monday, Nov. 16, that Agra has 7 active cases of COVID-19. The community has had 28 total cases, 1 death, and 20 recovered. Cushing has 77 active cases. The community has had 392 total cases, 4 deaths, and 311 have recovered.

Discount 33 Grand Opening

Caleb Wilhelm and Johnathon Cable cut the ribbon at Discount 33, 1244 E Main Street, in Cushing, last Friday. Cable and Wilhelm are the owners of the discount store, which off ers a constantly changing variety of new items ranging from diapers to car parts, toys, clothing, electronics and tools.

Local Veteran recalls love of flying

Louis Blake was born on March 14,1932 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He and his family moved to Wetumka in 1933 during the height of the depression. He lived in a few other towns throughout Oklahoma including Seminole, Oklahoma City and Yale before settling in the Norfolk area at the age of seven.
