CUSHING — Pueblo Viejo Auténtica Cocina Mexicana was named the 2025 Small Business of the Year during the Cushing Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on Thursday, Jan. 15, at Godofredo’s Pizzeria and Tap Room.

TAMPA, FL — A Drumright chiropractor and medical supply company owner from Cushing has been federally indicted on allegations that he orchestrated a multi-year scheme to defraud federal health care programs and misused COVID-19 relief funds for millions of dollars, according to the U.S.

Utility deposit refund policy in effect

CUSHING —A new policy that allows longterm utility customers with good payment histories to receive their utility deposit back as a bill credit went into effect at the first of this year. The policy was approved by the City of Cushing commissioners in September 2025.
