DRUMRIGHT — The Whitlock Walking Trail is officially complete — marked by the final step of resurfacing the trail last week on Jan. 7.The trail located in Whitlock Park, 601 South Jones, has been developing for some months.

STILLWATER – When 33-year-old Myles Dobson, of Cushing, was airlifted last May from Stroud Regional Medical Center to Oklahoma State University Hospital in Tulsa, doctors weren’t sure he would survive.

CUSHING – The Payne County Health Department will be offering a SAIL (Staying Active and Independent for Life) class at the at the Cushing Youth and Community Center (CYCC) at 700 South Little Avenue. Classes are from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday beginning on Jan. 20.

STILLWATER — Stillwater Medical welcomed its first baby of 2026 early Thursday morning with the birth of Emry Morrison.Emry was born at 4:40 a.m. Jan. 2, according to hospital officials. She is the first child of parents Karrie Tull of Jennings and Braden Morrison of Mannford.
