Asphalt upgrade

Crews were out at Cushing Wal-Mart on June 26 repaving a section of the parking lot to improve the surface to give locals a smooth ride to pick up their pre-holiday supplies. The project included a layer of fresh asphalt and new striping to enhance safety and traffic flow.

STILLWATER — An Oklahoma City man accused of stealing a truck at a Cushing service station at 7:04 pm on June 7 and fleeing at 100+ mph on SH 33 has been ordered to appear in court Aug. 20 on a twocount felony charge punishable by up to 10 years in prison on conviction.
