DRUMRIGHT — During the April meeting of the City of Drumright Board of Commissioners the first week of May was officially proclaimed Teacher Appreciation Week, according to City Manger Shawn Gibson.

The Boomtown Theater Needs YOU! Yes You!

DRUMRIGHT – The Boomtown Theater located at 101 Pennsylvania, Drumright, will be holding auditions on Saturday, May 10 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the zany comedy, “Elvis has Left the Building” by V. Cate and Duke Ernsberger. Performances will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

This week’s receipts were significantly lighter, down more than 50% from last week and a fraction of what we saw this time last year. Weekend rains contributed to the smaller run, though demand held strong. Quality was noted as average across the board.
