Utility rates going up

CUSHING — The members of the Cushing Municipal Authority made a decision on the longstanding topic of utility rates during a meeting held Monday night on April 21. The officials unanimously voted to approve two resolutions that resulted in an increase in utility rates for electric, water, and sewer.

STILLWATER – The owner of a medical marijuana farm near Ripley – from which 4,983 plants were allegedly seized along with $13,818 in cash -- and two of his employees have been charged with illegally trafficking the drug in a case investigated by Payne County Sheriff's Deputy Brandon Myers.
