CUSHING — A Cushing man perished in a house fire that broke out on the 700 block of Broadway last Tuesday, Feb. 4.According to Cushing Fire Chief Dalton Novotny, firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire at 6:51 p.m. and were on scene at 6:54 p.m.

Cushing School District Transportation Bond to be voted on Feb. 11

CUSHING - The Cushing Public School district will have two propositions on the upcoming Feb. 11 election ballot. Superintendent Melissa Amon explained both propositions are transportation bond proposals — one for $245,000 and the other $1.2 million — neither of which will impact property taxes.
