Dear Editor This last ice storm created multiple tree limbs crashing to the ground, creating a real problem for citizens to clean up the mess. As a senior citizen I was not looking forward to the mess my Bradford Pear tree caused.

The Payne County Health Department will offer a drive-thru flu shot event for individuals ages 12 and up. This event is by appointment only, on Thursday, October 15th as part of the “Say Boo to the Flu” campaign.
