CUSHING — The Cushing Lady Tiger softball team, currently ranked 15th in Class 5A has learned they will host district playoffs this season with dates and opponents to ba announced later. The Lady Tigers were 7-5 going into the weekend after winning six of their last seven games.

CUSHING - The Cushing Lady Tigers are currently 2-1 in district 4A-3 after this week’s 1-0 win over the Shawnee Lady Wolves. The Lady Tigers are currently in fourth place in district and will need to hold on to that standing in order to reach the playoffs.

CUSHING - The Cushing Crossroads Relay invitational track meet was held Thursday, March 28, at O’Dell field. The following are results firstthird place for each event, as well as the results of Cimarron Valley teams and athletes who competed, but may not have made the podium.

CUSHING - The Cushing Tiger baseball team is 7-3, 6-2 in conference play, after sweeping the Cleveland Tigers with a 20-1 win at home last Monday, and a 9-4 win on the road in Cleveland, Tuesday. CUSHING - The Cushing Lady Tiger slowpitch softball team is currently ranked 15th in Class 5A softball and head coach Nikki York says that is a considerable achievement considering their schedule so far.
