Save the date for Drumright Boomtown Melodrama

DRUMRIGHT - Drumright Boomtown’s Annual Oilpatch Jamboree Melodrama, Mischief in the Magnolias by PB Rogerson, is scheduled for Oct. 4 and 5.The cast is made up of all veteran actors who range in age as well as productions. It is sure to entertain you in southern humorous style.

Lady Tigers host conference tourney Thursday

CUSHING - The Cushing Lady Tigers are 6-9 and are finding their identity as they mature and develop through the season.The Lady Tigers are young with one junior, two seniors, two sophomores and four freshmen in starter positions. On Monday, they traveled to Preston and suffered a tough 10-2 loss.

Tigers overpower Chiefs in 18-7 win

CUSHING — It wasn’t pretty at first, but the Cushing Tiger football team opened its 2024 season with a win at home against the always scrappy Berryhill Chiefs.“It is always nice to get a win to start the season with a quality non-district opponent,” said Tiger Head Coach Rusty Morgan.

Lady Tigers destroy Cleveland

CUSHING - The Cushing Lady Tigers are currently 2-2 in conference play thanks to a monumental 16-3 win over the Cleveland Tigers on Aug. 29.Freshman Harli York went 3-3 at the plate with a single in the first, a double in the third and a single in the fourth.
