Lady Warriors hosting Regional tournament

RIPLEY - The 21-9 Ripley Lady Warriors are ranked No. 3 in class 3A slow pitch and are now district champs after a 16-1 walkoff victory over Liberty and a sweep of Barnsdall Lady Panthers last week. They will host the District Tournament.

Warrior golf places ninth in qualifier

BLACKWELL — Ripley Warrior golf took ninth place at the OSSAA class 2A boys state qualifier tournament in Blackwell Monday, April 22. Teams that placed 1-6 moved on to regionals.As a team, the Warriors shot a 419, coming in 62 strokes over first place Pawnee.

Lady Tigers reach second round of districts

CUSHING - The Cushing Lady Tigers, ranked 16th in Class 5A, ended their 2024 slow pitch season ranked 16th in Class 5A softball with a record of 11-11.Cushing hosted the district tournament last week and easily handed the Locust Grove Lady Pirates a 12-0 shutout.

CUSHING — The Tigers are still in it. The Cushing varsity baseball team, with a record of 15-5, has won 13 of its last 11 games and will be hosting the regional tournament at Tiger Field in Memorial Park this week.

Tigers eclipse Warriors in pitching duel Monday

CUSHING - With the season half over, the Cushing Tiger baseball team is sitting on a 10-4 overall record and are at the top of District 4A-8 with a district record of 9-2.On Monday, the Tigers overtook the Glenpool Warriors, 3-2, in a pitching duel that ended with a walk-off RBI from Tiger Beau Roe.
