Lady Tigers to host playoffs

CUSHING — The Cushing Lady Tiger softball team, currently ranked 15th in Class 5A has learned they will host district playoffs this season with dates and opponents to ba announced later. The Lady Tigers were 7-5 going into the weekend after winning six of their last seven games.

Lady Tiger soccer chasing playoff spot

CUSHING - The Cushing Lady Tigers are currently 2-1 in district 4A-3 after this week’s 1-0 win over the Shawnee Lady Wolves. The Lady Tigers are currently in fourth place in district and will need to hold on to that standing in order to reach the playoffs.

Cushing Crossroads Relay results

CUSHING - The Cushing Crossroads Relay invitational track meet was held Thursday, March28, at O’Dell field. The following are results firstthird place for each event, as well as the results of Cimarron Valley teams and athletes who competed, but may not have made the podium.

Tiger beat Cleveland twice in two days

CUSHING - The Cushing Tiger baseball team is 7-3, 6-2 in conference play, after sweeping the Cleveland Tigers with a 20-1 win at home last Monday, and a 9-4 win on the road in Cleveland, Tuesday.

Lady Tigers sweep Davenport in Thursday doubleheader

CUSHING - The Cushing Lady Tiger slowpitch softball team is currently ranked 15th in Class 5A softball and head coach Nikki York says that is a considerable achievement considering their schedule so far.

Lady Warriors ranked fourth in Class 3A

NORTH ROCK CREEK - The slow pitch tournament in North Rock Creek was not good to the Ripley Lady Warriors, who went in to last week’s event unbeaten in their last seven games. They came out the other side with a record of 10-4 after losses to Cache and Stillwell and wins over Harrah and Leedey.

CUSHING - Cushing’s Beau Roe doubled in the first, doubled in the second and singled in the third inning to lead the Tiger baseball team to a 21-1 mercy rule win over the Cleveland Tigers Monday.Playing in front of an alumni night crowd, Roe had three hits in three at bats for three RBIs.
