CUSHING - The Cushing Tiger baseball team logged a big win over the Perkins-Tryon Demons Monday, thanks to balanced pitching from Stetson Etheridge, finished off with two innings of no-run, no-hit relief from Gage Lovin.

Tigers end area tournament drought

CUSHING - For the first time in at least 15 years, the Cushing Tigers boys basketball team made a deep enough post season run to reach the area tournament.Cushing finished the season with a 17-10 record.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Cushing Tiger wrestlers traveled to Jim Norrick Arena last weekend to compete in the OSSAA Class 4A State Wrestling Tournament. As a team the tigers scored 23 points and took 13th place.Westling at 106lbs, Aydin Machado (33-13) did not place but scored 3 team points.

CUSHING - Cushing Tiger head basketball coach Jake Christenson had a gut feeling after losing in the district title game to the Mannford Pirates 62-43, that they would meet again, with the Pirates standing in the way of the Tigers’ bid for a slot in the Area bracket. He was right.

Lady Tigers to host Woodward here, Thursday, in opening round of regionals

MANNFORD - The Cushing Lady Tigers wrapped up their regular season at Berryhill last Tuesday and lost 26-40, but Head Coach Mason Baade said he was not unhappy with the output of the Cushing effort. “Berryhill was one of our best defensive performances as a team,” said Baade.

Tigers fall to Mannford, will face Woodward here, on Thursday

MANNFORD - The Cushing Tigers travelled to Mannford to face the Pirate in the district title game, but fell short 43-62. The Tigers found difficulty getting the ball through the hoop Saturday, while it seemed nothing could go wrong for the Pirates.
