Lady Warriors season ends in Enid

The Lady Warriors’ season came to an end on Thursday night at the Stride Bank Center in a back-and-forth matchup against Oklahoma Bible Academy. It was a challenging task for both teams, the second round of the area tournament, both teams with over 20 wins on the season.

Lady Tigers district runners up

The Cushing Lady Tigers were district runners up after losing to the Bristow lady Pirates Friday, 35-65. The Bristow girls are 18-6 and are ranked 19th in Class 4A for good reason — they can shoot.

Powerlifters win All American at Firelake

On February 3, the Cushing High School boys powerlifting team captured got first place large school team at the inaugural All-American Lift-a-thon, hosted by Little Axe Schools at the Firelake Event Center in Shawnee. Powerlifting teams in the large school division range from 3A to 6A.
