Cushing dominates Blanchard, moves on to semi-finals

The Cushing Tigers are still gold ball chasin’. The Tigers defeated Blanchard 42-7 on Friday after dominating the Lions in the second and third quarters. It was adversity the Tigers hadn’t faced all season.

Tigers tame Savages 48-0 in Round One

Cushing to face Blanchard in quarterfinals Round one of the OSSAA 4A state football playoffs is in the books, and to those who said Cushing’s never been tested, head coach Rusty Morgan and the Cushing Tigers made a definitive statement Friday when they shut out the 7-3 Broken Bow Savages, 48-0.

There was one common theme for the Cushing Tigers 2022 fast pitch softball season, adversity. Battling through injuries and put in situations where their backs were against the wall, despite it all the Tigers continued to push through, all while finding success.

Undefeated Tigers play last regular season home game Friday

The Cushing Tiger football team chalked up another “W” last week with an easy, 70-7 win over the Cleveland Tigers, taking their overall record to 8-0 and district record to 5-0.

Tigers go to 7-0 after McLain rout

The 7-0 Cushing Tigers continued to carve their swath through District 4A-3 last week with a 63-8 pounding of the McLain Titans on Friday. With the score 63-0 at half time Cushing Head Coach Rusty Morgan decided to rest most of his starters and get the second unit some experience.
