Tigers on seven game streak

CUSHING — In three short weeks, the Cushing Tigers boys basketball team have taken a “meh” 5-9 season and turned it into a full-throated “let’s go!” 12-9 surge. Seven straight wins will do that to a mood.

Deevers’ free to hunt feral hogs bill passes committee

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Senate Agriculture and Wildlife Committee approved Senate Bill 2108 on Monday. The bill, authored by Sen. Dusty Deevers, R-Elgin, would repeal burdensome licensing requirements related to the hunting of feral hogs, streamlining and simplifying the process.

CUSHING — Homecoming nights are supposed to be fun. This one was more fun than a snow day at Memorial Park, even if the scoreboard didn’t settle where the Lady Tigers would have liked it to.

Tigers reach final in Yale Tournament
