Lady Tigers headed to state 4A fast-pitch tourney in OKC

It’s been 17 years since a Lady Tiger fast-pitch softball team has been in a state tournament. Until this Thursday, that is.

Tigers defeat Harrah in overtime

The Cushing Tigers hosted the Harrah Panthers Friday on homecoming, and gave their fans a nailbiting performance by coming away with a hardfought overtime win, 42-35.

22-8 Lady Tigers open regionals Thursday at home

The Cushing Lady Tiger softball team will host the 4A region 1 fastpitch softball tournament at the Cushing Sports complex this week. The 22-8 Lady Tigers will face the Elk City Lady Elks at noon on Thursday, Oct. 8 and Head Coach Nikki York is asking Tiger fans to come out and support the team.

Bogle ninth overall in Colorado

Cushing’s Justin Bogle and team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS visited the high altitude of Thunder Valley in Lakewood, Colorado, for round eight of the 2020 Pro Motocross National Series and Bogle put in his best race of the season, ending the day with a well-deserved top ten finish.

Rachel Sherwood Rachel, a senior for the Cushing Lady Tiger fastpitch softball team led the game off against Bixby last week wth a home run. She also went 2-3 at the plate, heloping her Lady Tigers to a 9-1 victory.

Tigers 3-0 going into district play

After Friday night’s 27-17 win over the Berryhill Chiefs, The Cushing Tigers were elevated to 3-0 on the season and Tiger Head Coach Rusty Morgan told his team that now was the time to be mature and be humble about the position they were in.
