CHS Students attend Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute

QUARTZ MOUNTAIN — Seventy of the state’s most artistically advanced students from 23 schools in northeast Oklahoma attended the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute (OSAI) at Quartz Mountain in June.

STILLWATER – He may not have been involved in the 4-H Youth Development program as a youngster, but Randy Bailey is making a difference in the organization today as a volunteer leader.

Do you know where N. Wade Ave is in Cushing? I didn’t until I spotted a tiny house surrounded by beds of colorful flowers. It’s located just east of King’s HWY between Moses and Broadway. EJ Shackelford purchased the house, which was built on the slab of an old chicken house on a large corner lot.

Area Lake Report

Birch: July 14. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 86°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure. Striped bass hybrids fair on cut bait around channels. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Osage County.
