CUSHING - City of Cushing officials announced last week that effective immediately there would be an increase to trash rates following a notice from Republic Services. It is stated in the announcement Cushing trash rates have not had an increase since 2021 and they would be going up by two percent.

CUSHING - On Wednesday of last week, the Cushing Economic Development Foundation, Inc. and the City of Cushing, Oklahoma announced that Southern Rock Energy Partners, LLC (SREP) had selected Cushing as the site for the United States’ next generation, full conversion crude refinery.
