The following Arrests were made between May 7, 2023 — May 14, 2023. All individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. COLBY LEE GREWELL — 37 Possession of firearm after conviction of a felony, Possession of a dangerous substance.

Farm Driving Permit Signed into Law

OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Carl Newton, R-Cherokee, this week thanked the governor for signing into law a bill that will allow teens as young as 14 years old who live or work on a family farm to be eligible for a driving permit to go directly to or from home, work or school.

Cushing Aquatic Center opens Memorial Day — May 29

Cushing Aquatic Center will be open and ready for fun in the sun on Memorial Day — next Monday, May 29 from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Aquatic Center will be available 7-days a week. Current cost for 6 and under will be $2.50, 7 and up will be $3.75.

Cushing Summer Art Camp

Thanks to a partnership of individuals, corporations, the Cushing Arts Council, Oklahoma Arts Council, and the National Endowments for the Arts a summer art camp will be available in June.
