Yale’s Winter Wonderland; Sunday, Nov. 27

Winter Wonderland presented by the Yale Chamber of Commerce will be held on Sunday, Nov. 27 with activities starting at 4 p.m. According to Chamber President Brian Porter Jr. the evening will be full of activities and fun. Christmas Vendor Market will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Stocks Rise First

I’m not a fan of synchronized swimming. If my wife makes me watch it, I only look for the mess-ups. I prefer seeing the girl get kicked in the face more than the perfect routine. The stock market and the economy wouldn’t be very good synchronized swimmers.

How to Cook a Turkey

Broadway District Streetscape plans altered by DOT

The City of Cushing is considering an improvement to the Broadway District that includes streetscape improvements, sidewalks, trees, beautification and new lighting to Broadway, Cleveland, Harrison and Noble Streets to make the downtown area more friendly to foot traffic.
