A Ralston man was killed late Saturday east of Stillwater following a single car accident.

Local man elected as Alternate Angus Delegate to the 138th annual meeting

Wendell J. Custer, Cushing, has been elected as an alternate delegate to the 138th American Angus Association Convention of Delegates, set to be held Nov. 8 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas., reports Mark McCully, chief executive officer of the American Angus Association.

Payne County sings agreement with Town of Ripley

A n agreement with the Town of Ripley and Payne County Board of Commissioners was approved during the weekly meeting of the board last week. According to District 1 Commissioner Zach Cavett, the agreement with Ripley is a routine agreement that happens with smaller towns yearly.

New stone added to OHP Memorial

Oklahoma Law Enforcement Memorial, Inc., the non-profit 501c-3 organization that oversees the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Memorial, started a project two years ago to have wreaths placed during the Christmas holiday season on all graves of Oklahoma’s fallen law enforcement officers.
