Cowboy Canyon Stampede Rodeo

The inaugural Cowboy Canyon Stampede Rodeo, hosted by The Cowboy Canyon Foundation, was held July 15-17 in Cushing. Adam and Amber Quimby started The Cowboy Canyon Foundation after tragically losing their three-year-old son in an accident in March of this year.

Lucas, Bice introduce legislation addressing abandoned oil wells, stimulating research

Recently, Congressman Frank Lucas (OK-03) and Congresswoman Stephanie Bice (OK-05) introduced the Abandoned Well Remediation Research and Development Act, which would establish an abandoned wells research, development, and demonstration program at the Department of Energy.

What happened to the month of June?!? Amazing how these months fly by and probably because so much is going on. Not only in the downtown area, but all over our Cushing community. The Broadway District started out in June, the very first week, with a Chamber ribbon cutting at Bennett’s Small Customs.
